AssetWorks Announces Greg Richards as New General Manager

Kansas City, Missouri | March 18th, 2024

AssetWorks, a leading provider of fleet and asset management software solutions, announced today at the AssetWorks Academy conference the appointment of Greg Richards as its new General Manager. Richards succeeds Rob Hallett, who is moving into a leadership position within the Volaris Group.

With a proven track record of driving growth and innovation, Richards is poised to lead AssetWorks into its next phase of development and success to best serve its 675+ fleet and asset management customers.

Richards expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating: “I am humbled to serve as the new General Manager and to lead this team. I have been continually impressed by the passion, commitment, and deep domain expertise of AssetWorks employees.”

Richards is an engineer by training but holds masters certificates in Project Management, Management of Technology and Executive Leadership. His background includes senior leadership roles in software product development, services, support, operations and sales at Oracle, HP, Itron, and Hitachi Energy. Since joining AssetWorks in 2023, Richards has led the EAM division, where he built a group focused on new asset management use cases and oversaw significant growth.

Greg is most passionate about leveraging technology to help customers solve their fleet and asset management challenges and better serve their stakeholders and citizens.
