AssetWorks Field Service Solution is a complete vehicle tracking, field ticketing, and mobile workforce management system that improves the efficiency of fleet-based business. It delivers Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL/GPS), field ticketing, driver behavior monitoring, work alone safety, driver elogs, reporting and maintenance capabilities.
Our Field Service Solution integrates with third-party software systems using a number of different data exchange options including CSV imports/exports and web services for real-time data integration. AssetWorks has implemented software integration solutions with Microsoft AX, Oracle and other major software packages. AssetWorks partners with each of our clients to ensure the software integration matches their specific use of these external applications.

Vehicle and Asset Tracking
Vehicle tracking allows office staff to monitor the location of all the vehicles in the fleet on a real-time map. Valuable assets such as trailers, expensive tools, and yellow iron can also be tracked to allow the closest available asset or vehicle to be routed to a job site, minimizing downtime and the need to rent equipment.
Fleet Monitoring and Maintenance
Powerful driver behavior monitoring dashboards provide fleet managers with a transparent view of operations. Monitor speed, fuel consumption and RPMs to address high fuel costs and safety issues caused by excessive speed or unnecessary idling. Vehicle pre-trip inspection and maintenance reminders, based on odometer readings, ensure valuable vehicles are maintained appropriately.
The Field Service Solution provides managers with a comprehensive set of reports for enhanced operational insight. Managers can choose from pre-made reports or create their own.
Field operators electronically fill in field tickets and job statuses are tracked automatically. Office staff are able to send last-minute changes directly to the operator and ticketing information is received at the office electronically in real-time, eliminating paperwork and time-consuming data entry. All the information captured is time-stamped and accurate allowing for immediate billing.
The work-alone safety option allows easy compliance with lone worker legislation and safety policies by automating the check-in process, ensuring field operators are connected to the office at all times. Workers can check in on their mobile device or with an intrinsically-safe work-alone pendant. In the office, staff can monitor the status of all lone workers and are immediately alerted when a worker misses a check-in or an emergency arises.
Electronic Driver Logs and Hours of Service (HOS)
The optional Hours-of-Service (HOS) module provides functionality to make legislative compliance effortless and straightforward. Combining in-vehicle Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and in-office software, the solution handles all North American regulations including north of 60° and 49th Parallel rule changes, allows multiple crew login on the same vehicle and supports pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
