The Many (Inter)Faces of AssetWorks Custom Development

Presented by Robert Baker

Session Description
Custom Development:  it’s where the magic happens here at AssetWorks.  It’s where we build integrations and action codes and reporting that helps your organization fire on all cylinders with AiM.  It can also bring your implementation to a screeching halt and lead to a great deal of frustration without precise alignment between stakeholders and developers.  This session will provide an overview of the custom development process at AssetWorks and share steps we’ve taken recently to mitigate the common challenges our customers face during the development cycle.

Learning Objectives

  • Overview of the custom development process at AssetWorks
  • Requirements capture and specifications
  • Scope changes:  what defines a change in scope and how it is handled
  • Customer testing and deployment
