FleetFocus integrates with INVERS' Automated Motor Pool System

The integration with the INVERS Motor Pool Systems allows our customers to operate centralized as well as remote, unmanned motor pools with as few as one vehicle. Limited business hours and searching for vehicle keys have become problems of the past. The use of this technology allows you to right-size your fleet effectively while offering a broader choice of vehicles to your users with the convenience of pool vehicle access right at their fingertips. Increased vehicle utilization will allow you to cost justify the purchase of more fuel efficient and green fleet vehicles. The KeyManager system with its optional onboard computers is recommended for centralized pools. The StandAlone system is suited for the smallest pools with no infrastructure requirements at the location. In this case, key dispatch is via a secure key holder in the glove compartment.

Automated Use Case Handling
Many of the day-to-day use case scenarios are handled in an automated fashion; for example, when a user is delayed on returning their vehicle, the systems will automatically make adjustments to serve follow-up reservations.

How It Works

AssetWorks uses its MAXQueue middleware technology to integrate communications between FleetFocus and the INVERS Motor Pool Systems to perform the following actions:

  • Pull all reservation, trip & billing data about the KeyManager and StandAlone system vehicle dispatches into FleetFocus.
    Bringing all motor pool information into FleetFocus allows to automatically update meter readings, post financial information, and execute the reports you are accustomed to.
  • Pull all online reservations for manned motor pools real-time into the FleetFocus motor pool module for dispatch.
    Reservations placed through the online web reservation system post immediately to the motor pool module allowing your dispatch staff to continue using the tools that they are acquainted with.
