FleetFocus Comprehensive Maintenance Management Solution Can Help CTTransit Modernize Its Maintenance Operations
AssetWorks, a leading provider of fleet management software and automated fuel management systems, today announced that CTTransit has signed a contract for AssetWorks fully integrated fleet management software, FleetFocus™.
Looking to modernize its fleet operations and facility management infrastructure, CTTransit went through a competitive procurement process to select a fleet technology partner. They chose AssetWorks' FleetFocus solution after evaluating several software options because the system can help CTTransit achieve its goals to:
- Increase the efficiency of technicians
- Reduce costs
- Streamline maintenance processes throughout the organization by utilizing technology
Additionally, FleetFocus will integrate with CTTransit's timekeeping system, Kronos, and financial management system, Macola. By passing clock-in/clock-out information and vehicle costs directly to these systems, CTTransit can expect to save time by reducing the need for duplicate data entry, as well as improve the accuracy of the information by reducing the opportunity for human error.
CTTransit is the state of Connecticut owned bus transit system serving the greater Hartford, New Haven, Stamford, Waterbury, New Britain, Meriden, Bristol and Wallingford areas. The AssetWorks system will be installed at the CTTransit Hartford, New Haven and Stamford facilities for an operating fleet of over four hundred buses.
AssetWorks fleet management software tracks all functions related to the maintenance of vehicle equipment, including repair and preventive maintenance (PM) work orders; real-time labor capture; and billing for vehicle and equipment usage. All the information is stored on a single database which centralizes all fleet information and can make it easier to access.
